Bill Jacobs BMW has been awarded a 2021 Dealer Rater Dealer of the Year Award

I've never brought a car from them. But, I did go to the dealership last year to look at a preowned Mercedes E-Class they had in stock. I was treated very well. The previous owner brought my E90 from them back in 2009. Has anyone else brought a car from Bill Jacobs?

I went there to test drive an X7 and place an order but we couldn’t come to an agreement so I bought from Karl Knauz. I was treated well at both dealers but Matt Pudlo @ Knauz provided the best deal and delivery experience.

Matt is also an enthusiast and forum member.

When I went to look at the Mercedes (my parents were looking for a car and I happened to be in Naperville doing a dealer trade) the Mercedes ended up being a little small and looked outdated. It was a 2016 Mercedes E350. I think it had 35k miles and I got them down to 22k otd (I think). Since that was small, we started talking about getting into a 2020 BMW 5 series. But, they were giving us $9k for our "trade" in. We weren't really planning on trading in the minivan (2011 Toyota Sienna Limited with well its got 60k miles on it right now). So, we just ended up walking out the door and brought a CPO E-Class. Still have the minivan Idk why

We worked with Mike Adler and Craig Brunton. Both of them treated us well.

I'm in this area and I've never bought from any of these dealers because their deals just aren't that good. Hence my money goes elsewhere.

Dealers around here just aren't that competitive price wise in the grand scheme of BMW dealers.

I heard shopping out of state usually gets you the best deal. I've never brought a new car so I've got 0 experience with that

Bought my first Bimmer there after college. Got stiffed on everything every step of the way. To he fair, I got a near base E46 325i (only a few options like cold weather pkg, moonroof, and a few others). Nice people, though. Ive gone to Perillo ever since. Much happier there. Neither dealership is anywhere near where I live.

Really? I've really only heard bad things about Perillos BMW.

I've gotten 4 Bimmers there, one of which only stayed in my possession for a week... Nothing bad to say at all. That's in comparison to another Chicagoland dealership who I swore off ever buying something from a long time ago due to unacceptable treatment from.

+1
I've seen them offering a number of salvage title cars.

I go to Patrick for service and they've always treated me well.

I will say Knauz is great on the service side....it's just the sales department that is lacking.

Bought an X5 4.4 CPO from Bill Jacobs back in 2008, vehicle unseen - drove my lease turn in from Detroit to Chicago, purchased the car at BJ, and drove it home. Extremely smooth transaction and very fair pricing.
