Great looking car, and wow! The ZE40s look stunning on Melbourne. 👍👍
I have the same set of wheels, might be open to trading them for some other wheels soon 😃

If memory serves me correctly, a bidding war between two people came out and someone from Canada bought it for about $15k plus the CoPart fees, shipping, etc. I'd say whomever bought it probably had about $18k+ into it just to get it them. Every body panel on the car was damaged in some way with exception of the trunk lid along with each 359m wheel, suspension, k-member... Seems nuts to buy a salvaged car with that extensive of damage and still have a long road ahead ($$) to get it going. Maybe they just really wanted the Speed Cloth II interior!

But before we get too much wood over our E9xM cloth seats we must be humble and bow down to the king of all "cloth" seats.

2009 e92M
-Speed cloth (all the way up)
-Manual, non heated seats
-Park assist
-M button (I see a lot of people listing it but don't they all have this?)
-Had EDC (coilovers now)
-Carbon fiber trim
-Power rear sunshade (I assume this is a fairly rare, although not very useful, option)

Forgive my ignorance, but can you guys explain the appeal/preference of speed cloth seats over leather?

Nice spec 👍

In regards to M mode button. I don't think so. Mine doesn't have it.

Drove a car with leather and speed cloth back to back, Leather seats are slippery as hell. Also I prefer how the speed cloth looks sportier, and they made less cars with speed cloth interiors.

08 E92 M3, Speed cloth seats (half way up). Only option that the car has is Sparkling Graphite Grey color, which I personally love.

One of my favorite colors on the e90/92. Too bad only offered in 2008.
