i really like the back portion of the roof when it's up ! and when it's down, well, it's a no-brainer for me
congrats on all your cars guys, one day i'll have one
I'm actually prefer the back portion of the E90/E92 roof. The shape of E93 roof (especially white ones) reminds me of a town car...

I also don't like the black gaps between the roof sections on AW.

It's not so bad that I didn't want one, but I went with SG instead of AW. E93s look much better with the top down.

funny, because the back of the E93 roof is actually what i like !! i prefer top down of course, but you know, on a rainy day...
i think the 64 (?) Mustang would have been a better comparo although the 'Stang is a little steeper... (i dont like the fastbacks)

No rubbing issues. I have had 3 225lb peeps in my car. No issue. I have springs not coilovers so no issue with EDC.
Rims are 20x8.5 front 20x10.5 rear

Most convertibles in general have steep and/or protruding c-pillars, simply by virtue of being convertibles. It's a combination of trying to make the rear deck flow with the body as flatly as possible while having the c pillar as a separate piece that still provides headroom.

wow - those are awesome pics

is the E93 new for 2011? I'm a former 7 series owner and I'm still doing my homework on the M3 Convertible vs the M6.

The M3 seems to have a bit more backseat space vs the M6
