Ravenol vs. Redline / for M3
I posted this at BITOG
https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forum...81#Post4815381 Some people have weighed in, but not with data points or facts to go with their opinions, except for one guy. What are your thoughts? I noticed in a YouTube video that SSR Performance, in SoCal, use it when doing the RB job on Spencer Berke's e90. I'm not familiar with Ravenol... from Germany... I've been using Redline for years however.... Any thoughts on the two ester based oil companies' products? I'm thinking toward the application of BMW M cars.... https://www.redlineoil.com/10w60-motor-oil https://www.ravenol.de/en/products/u...ae-10w-60.html

I would say you got some good discussion in that thread. Doodfood, Trav, Garak, etc. are all long-time members and are focusing on the facts. You will always get some posts in there with anecdotal evidence, that's just the nature of the Internet (e.g. "I use brand X and it's good").
