I was runnin sec cat delete way before getting a tube and never had any issues, the O2 sensors go before and after the primary cats, so taking out the sec cats wont throw CEL. |

Ok ok i see.. that's what I've been told.. Just wanted to double check before I go ahead and do so.. So I'm good to do this? How about inspection and what not will I still pass or will I have to save the cat and put it back on down the road?

Egad people.
Nothing you do after the primary cats and secondary 02 sensors is going to cause a CEL. Neither will it make much power. |

Depends how the inspection is done in your state,in some states they just plug the a cable the OBD II port and it scans the car and check for errors and emission errors,in other states the still plug it in and do a sniff test .if the sniff test is performed................you are not going to pass ! |

All secondary cat deletes require you to cut the stock exhaust, but you can always use the same clamps to put the OEM x-pipe back on. If you gut your stock exhaust, though... there's no going back. And finding a used OEM x-pipe may not be easy depending on where you live.

And inspection part of it .. I have a few buddies that can take care of that if I did not pass.. .. I just wanted to double check on the CEL issue and it seems like I'm good to go.. Lol

In most states, it's illegal to sell a car with any emissions equipment removed (even secondary cats). However, the chances of anyone finding out or even caring is slim to none
