Eisenmann Sport vs Akrapovic Slip-On
Curious on how these two compare.
Sound, Built, and Gains. And if you've owned either one any input would be great. I know the Eisenmann w/ Connecting Pipes is near the price of the Akrapovic Slip-On. Let me know! |

The Eisenmann sport is relatively on the quiet side, while the Akrapovic Slip-On system has a much louder exhaust note in comparison.

If there is a possibility of doing the Akrapovic Evolution at a later date I'd say go with the Akrapovic slip-on. IMO the Akrapovic sounds kinda flat and very quiet in the slip-on. I think IND gives customers a really good deal on connecting pipes when they buy an eisenmann muffler from them. |

BUILD both are top notch
GAINS both will give you 3-5HP since its only an axle back you will not see any gain or feel a difference... SOUND i probably go with AKRA,Eisenmann sport is just way too quite... I will be pairing the AKRA with an catless xpipe not sure which one though. overall i like both its just a preferrence...

Both are two of the best systems on the M3 market. It really comes down to material titanium vs. stainless steel. The Eisenmann Sport level has a deeper tone than the slip-on Akra.

I would like to, but I have not heard the Eisenmann. I have Akra slip on. But last thing I would want is a deeper tone than Akra.
Resale value (which seems to be good on both) maybe another consideration for you.

I myself am considering these two for my car. However i am leaning towards the full akra system. I guess i will have to wait till after mfest and see what they sound like in person then make my decision.

Agreed. X-Pipe is needed in order to really make the Akra fun.

They would be about the same Heath. You heard my car with the full Evolution system and both the Eisenmann Sport and Akrapovic slip-on are going to be quieter than that...... you heard for yourself that my car is totally liveable on a daily basis even with the Evolution. I personally think if you are only doing a muffler that the Eisenmann sport is the most refined and best sounding system there is that is quiet enough to live with on a daily basis.

One is lightest and the other is heaviest aftermarket exhaust available for M3.
Both sound good in very different way. If you're looking for performance (by saving weight as slip-on exhaust wouldn't do much in HP gain dept), Akra is way to go in my opinion. And the used resale value in the forum, akra is def. highest as well.

Thank you everyone for your help.. Really helped me actually. I think I just need to hear the two in person
Personally the full akrapovic evo system is my favorite system out there. I got to think about it more, still don't have the M3 yet, it's in the ocean lol. Has anyone tried a Eissenman Sport with the Akrapovic Xpipe? |

I have Eisenmann Sport with Encore x-pipe /w HFC and I don't even know what drone is or what this drone you guys are talking about. The car sounds quiet and mean and powerful from the inside but it's menace from the outside. It gets loud above 5k rpm, sounds like an exotic car but not loud and cheap like the old hondas with loud exhausts you see around. I wet myself almost every morning when I start up the car with one of my windows down

Axle back options
I've had the Eisi Sport from EAS for 2 1/2 years now and couldn't be happier. For me it gives just enough added growl and volume without being obnoxious. Nice looks, too. Only downside, other than price, is there aren't any weight savings from stock with it (should last forever, though).
