Ever visited the German Car Museums ???

You should go, sometime in your lifetime ... something NOT to be missed, all are fantastic ...

BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi and of course the good old VW.

At Porsche you might even see one on the ceiling I took this picture in May 2009.

I lived in Zuffenhausen when I was a kid, made it back a few years ago and went to the Porsche museum. Great experience!

Yet another example of how when the Germans do something, they do it right. Thanks Rolf!

I'm planning a trip in September to hit all the museums plus a stop at the Ring for some laps in a TBD race car rental. The trip will end with a 4 day driving tour of the Swiss/Italian alps in a 2012 Porsche 911 Cabrio. This has been my dream trip forever and I've finally got the cash to do it!

Have a wonderful trip ... and if you are anywhere near Hamburg, take in the Miniature Wonderland Museum as well ... it is the largest in the world a taste of it can be seen in the video below. Allow at least 6 hours to see it all ... something not to be missed. It is so good that I will return to see it again on my next trip ... when I was there in 2009 they started to add the airport and planes ... now completed I understand.

Been to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Ferrari in Maranello and Lambo in Bologna! Ferrari one was disappointing and most expensive but the Lambo and Porsche ones are great. Will be heading to Munich this year to see the BMW one.

Yep, been to the Porsche museum. It is a must if you're in the area. If Apple computer designed a car museum, it would look like the Porsche museum....it really is an architectural masterpiece.

Also, the Porsche dealership across the street aint too shabby either.
