double +1 on tyspeed if you can get there, look at tyspeed.com. obviously ACM will be a lot more convenient to NYC and they've certainly done rod bearings before.
Edit: ha! just now noticed the date on this thread. well, maybe by now you need another set of RBs. |

M3 Rod Bearing Replacement Shops
Tyler at TySpeed just replaced my critically-worn bearings (55K miles, 3 owners, "perfect" Carfax/AutoCheck), along with all required maintenance. A must-visit expert, and shop.

Best shop (imo) to get bearings done in California by far is MRF Engineering in Lake Forest, CA.
After making a 9hr road trip to get mine done there, I understand why so many others also vouch for MRF . |
