Just hit 90k on my 2008 E90 M3 6spd last week.

I purchased the car at 86k as second owner and have a fat binder of all service history from day one when first owner (who lived local to me) bought the car.

Happily adding more miles!

Just extended my warranty.
A must when considering long term ownership with an M car

Went over 90K this weekend. The only thing that has been done is a replacement of the DCT gasket as far as I can tell. I've had it since 59K miles. Runs like a top and Blaskstone reports are perfect...

How much did you pick it up for if you don't mind me asking?

2009 E90 M3
- Owned since new, and racked up 162,000kms/101,000miles.
- Not a single issue, going to be replacing my bearing this week and possibly engine mounts if needed (highly likely)

All very motivating posts, love driving mine every chance I get!

Has anyone had to change their starter motor or alternator? Whether 08-11 or 11-13 models ?

I had my eye on that one, it does look really nice, but I pulled the trigger on a different car. The seller is a friend of a friend, so I have all the records and trust all the work. It's also Jerez with Bamboo, DCT, and has no sunroof, which sealed the deal for me (I hate sunroofs). In the last 15k miles it has had bearings, both actuators, cooling system refresh, spark plugs, pads, rotors, and has brand new Conti tires.

Upgrades include Active Autowerk tune, Megan racing exhaust, BMW performance steering wheel, GT4 front splitter, wheel studs, and more. Pics soon!

Wow. Just saw the 180k mile post! And I thought mine was a lot at 93k. That is badass! Awesome to know that if you throw a little bit of money for maintenance these cars will still keep pulling...unlike MANY other cheaper cars that seem to just fall apart no matter how much you seem to throw at them.

Just hit 120,000 miles on my car. Original clutch, tb's, and rod bearings with no signs of slowing down! Black stone reports have always been great thankfully

Just hit 100k

Original rod bearings, TBA's and clutch!

Only thing that has failed has been the low pressure fuel sensor. All fluids changed very regularly, new battery and pads all round recently. Oil sent off for Blackstone analysis.

Changed thermostat, water pump, idler and belts at 100k as preventative maintenance.

I have been changing oil every 7k or less and just got my first above-average lead reading but I think it might have been gas from a trackside Sunoco pump I used, otherwise wear metals have all been low on this engine. Might be doing rod bearings soon for peace of mind if the next analysis doesn't look better.
{snip}
update

Rod bearings changed at 102,400 miles due to that spike in lead readings on the blackstone report not dropping on the next one after 4500 miles on the oil. They didn't look terrible (for S65 bearings) but didn't look great either. It was time. Still on the original other big known "wear" items (Throttle actuators, clutch). Has just under 104,000 on it now.
