Never seen this wing. I love it.
Keep en eye on classifieds or message me. I don't love it enough that I think I'll keep it (I already have a GTS wing).

To answer your question, I think Bimmerworlds Aero package is the most effective, followed up by APR's stuff, the GTS wing is also a nice mild option. All need to be balanced out with some type of I've been setting multiple PR's in my car with no aero, and there's still a bit time left on the courses I've been on.

I've noticed your signature doesn't say anything about suspension. Unless it's not been updated I feel like that's probably low hanging fruit over aero.
Thanks for the tips. I checked out Bimmerworld's wing options but have yet to look at APR's stuff. I agree the rear aero loads need to be balanced out with front aero loads - perhaps by a decent size tea-tray style front splitter - other wise the corner weight loads will be off when the static loads are added to the dynamic aero loads thereby altering the understeer / oversteer balance.

Good catch on my signature not including any suspension mods. I do have EDC which helps somewhat on its stiffest setting. However, while I agree the suspension is low hanging fruit, I was naively thinking adding a wing (aero) might be cheaper. Boy was I wrong. I took a look at the price of Bimmerworld's wings and was quite surprised. So adding grip 'either' by suspension tweaks + aero for transients, or at steady state (aero) starts to get expensive..

The Grand-Am wing probably generates some down force but I could not find any aero data on it. Only one of the wings on Bimmerworld's website has a downforce and drag versus speed graph.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks. The BW Ultralight GT Wing definitely has huge amounts of adjustability for angle of attack (and downforce) - and it looks great too. Do you have any data for how much downforce load it generates versus speed and angle of attack?

One more question, do the wing mountings allow for the loads to be spread out over the trunk lid?

When I get aero it is guaranteed the rear wing is the CF one tsk94 has, and for the front probably the BW GT4 splitter and canards/etc package they have. Or the Zebulon front splitter, I really like that as well
Thank you so much. I maybe taking your advice. I was able to find aero data below for the BimmerWorld V3 Carbon Race Wing (see image below) but no aero data for the BimmerWorld Ultralight GT Carbon Race Wing tsk94 has. If you get a chance can you point me to the BW information on the front and rear aero matching? No rush.

If you contact Bimmerworld they should be able to provide it to you. I'll see if I still have it kicking around. The mounting plates for the uprights are large in area so the load is spread well across the trunk. No issues so far after 1.5 seasons with mine.

I haven't seen any data, this has come up in discussions with the BW crew. I didn't know they published the v3 wing data, that's pretty interesting.

isn't it far more ideal for the wing stands to be solid and not open?

They are milled aluminum, very strong. If they were carbon then I could see them being solid.

I meant for aerodynamics, not strength.

I don't have info on the f+r aero package, just the rear wing. What BW provided me was basically what you have, as the Ultra wing and the V3 use the same airfoil. The Ultra is a bit more efficient as the stays are molded into the bottom of the airfoil vs. being bolted on like on the V3. And it's obviously much lighter. I had the V3 wing on my E36 and the Ultra on the E92 currently, both are great but the Ultra is really a quality piece.

Yep the owner Marco at https://faserschmiede.de only has GTS risers. it would be cool too to have high risers.

I found some other varieties while poking around on the forum. Some are from earlier days, that is if you can call 2011 earlier days (a decade ago now)..

Varis GT Wing:

and

Arkim Gurney?

and

Flossman Wing

See the source posts here:

Interesting Aero Kit Supplier Here:

https://www.flossmann-bmw.com/shop/b...m3-gt4-street/

and here:

http://www.racingparts-bmw.de/start/..._gt4_e92_3.htm

I guess because the aerodynamic lift and coefficients are proprietary very few seem to be published..

and

Well.. we're not spoiled for choice.. enjoy.
