For those running Karbonius CAI, do you use insulation?

I know it isn't pretty, but they have the additional heat insulation kit so decided to get them.

Is clear coat going to be a long term issue without the insulation?

Yes, but I did it to insulate the intake air, not the finish.

I got my two airboxes before they released the insulation kit.

Without the insulation kit, after two years of heavy track use the stroker Karbonius plenum looks perfect, as I'd expect

Do you have them in different weave patterns?

I might get another one in matte, wondering if I should go with 1x1 plain weave instead of the 2x2 twill.

Do you think using insulation helps or is it even worth it for full oem?

It helps, but how much and how "worth it" it is an individual assessment.
