How about a magnaflow exhaust?

why not replace the stock mufflers with a pair of these? Probly great sound and much cheaper than Remus etc.

Thats what my bud is doing with his CTS-V. Will probably cost him $300 total. Not a bad idea at all, but I just have a fear of doing all that and having it sound crappy, or not seeing any gains. Even though not all designed systems make gains, but I do put my faith in some companies R & D efforts. There is a vid or 2 of some M3's with custom exhausts, and they aren't bad at all, I say go for it, and post up the vids. It's not a bad gamble for the $1k-$5k that you will save over a name brand system.
