Replacing valve covers

Just got notified to get one of these done. How often are these intervals?

Car is sitting at about 86k miles. Bought it 62k

I didn't get it. Who notified you to get what done?
Are you talking about valve cover itself or valve cover gasket?

You should do it at every 20k mile oil change. Is this really the first time you got the notification? Better visually check your bearings Buff. I'm assuming you know how to do that?
