I went through 3 600 mo bottles. Which I think is too much. But we bled each wheel before installing the next corner. We didn't want to have any leaks. Before moving on.

Agreed. But that's the price of a good pedal!
Glad I didn't use srf. I'd be pisssssed! The advantage of using rbf is you can afford (sorta) to bleed brakes more frequently. |

I used 2 Motul 660, you probably don't really need all of it though. I just ran it, because 1 is probably not enough for a full flush.

just remember that you may introduce some air into the system (air flows up). It may require just a bit more than what the lines a calipers take to get rid of the air. Not a full flush, but a pretty decent bleed I'd say.

I would hope so as im sure you could loose most of what's in the system if they are not capped

The secret to not loosing fluid is to rig up a stick between the seat and the brake pedal to push it half way down. You won't loose a single drop of fluid.
Someone posted it here a few years back and it works like a charm. I wish I knew this trick before I did those hard to reach rear inner lines. |

those freaking lines made me question my sanity, I kept thinking there HAS to be an easier way to swap them. (there isn't, sort of having access to a lift)
