FS: New HUF TPMS (4)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 25.00

Item Interest
FS: New HUF TPMS Sensors with silver metal stems for 2008-2013 M3. I bought a set of 4 of these with metal stems in March. The cost for 4 was $110 plus shipping. Unfortunately, I accidentally had them shipped to our apartment in NYC and couldn't get them due to COVID. I had to order another set which I'm using. Finally able to get these, I now have an extra set of four.

I'm willing to sell as a set or individually. These are pre-programmed for our cars, there's nothing else to do except install them.

These are the full racing version of the TPMS and good for about 10-14 extra whp (your dyno results may vary). You can't go wrong and will be amazed by the increased power, grip, handling and overall aerodynamics. So, you've got that...

The batteries in mine lasted exactly 9 years, so if you're getting close, you may want a set. $25 a piece - $100 for the set OBO plus shipping

These should work in any car made after 10/09 production.. so yes it should work on your car.

I have the sport version, only 5-7whp gains. Bump for quality race sensors!

Thanks, TIL that they work in a large number of cars, not just BMW's. I also learned that the pricing is a bit interesting. Apparently a set of 4 of the "full race" versions are about $110 plus a few dollars in shipping. However, the cost of a single is a bit more at about $36-40. These are metal stem versions, of course.

So, I'm mainly looking to recoup some of my investment, such that it may make more sense to sell them not as a set, but individually. I think I'll keep one for my spare wheel and then sell the 3 remaining.

If you have a spare wheel or two this is an easy way to get set up in case you cut a tire, bend a rim, etc. Nice to have the TPMS on hand without having to have the other tire removed, etc.

Race TPMS sensors are lighter than the factory TPMS sensors, and since they are mounted on the wheels which IS rotational mass, the savings in weight over the regular sensors translates to roughly 10-14 WHP gains. Just joking I have no idea WTF I'm saying, Free Bump for the OP

Bump. Another thing you're going to want on hand when your batteries go out. Are they a huge discount over new ones? No, but they are ready to go and will save you a bunch of time when one of you batteries die. It's going to happen. Just keep one or two of these in your garage, they are already programmed and then, hand them to your tire guy (unless you are your tire guy) to swap it out. How nice - and then the little light goes off.
