Whiter headlight bulb recommendation to match HIDs
Guys
Based on your experience can you recommend some headlight bulb replacement options that will give a whiter light to match my Alpine HID's and new LED turn signals? Also how hard is it to swap out the headlight bulb and do the aftermarket bulbs throw any codes? Thanks! On a second note anyone do the led tail light turn signal swap out without throwing a code? If you have knowledge on this please let me know as I'm looking to swap that as well.

Don't know about the tail lights, but the headlights are a cinch. You do have to take the wheel off and remove all of the 8mm and 10mm bolts that are on the inside of the wheel well next to the headlight. After that, take a 20-Torx and remove the 4 or 5 bolts attaching the black headlight backing. Then just unplug the bulb. One side takes about 15 minutes. It's really easy. I just installed 6000K MTEC D1S bulbs to replace the factory D1S's (I think they're 4500K's). Here's the website I used:

Anyone have pics of their 6000k Phillips Ultinon that you can post for reference. For those running the Phillips 6000k what are your thoughts, any issues or coding problems, and does it match the aftermarket HID halos and led white turn signals? Thanks.
