OSS & LS3 owners

Hey guys.

Just a quick question - Did you leave the oem low beam bulbs at 4300k. I was thinking of going with 6000k to match with the rings? Too bright? You got pulled over? Please share. I do want to get pulled over. If u live in Cali, then you know how the cops are. Pull u over for everything.

Anyways, this is what I am looking at:-

http://www.umnitza.com/philips-d2s-8...ir-p-5693.html

Thanks!

I have 6000k headlight bulbs with my OSS. Color match is much better than stock bulbs (I had stock bulbs with OSS on my previous e92 and the match was okay, but not great), and I haven't ever gotten pulled over for them.

Yea. I think Philips is the only one? Is it much brighter or just fits perfect with the rings?

You want to get pulled over? then get 12000k bulbs, that surely would do the trick

Actually they might be MTEC bulbs. Either way I've had them on the car 8 months with no problems. I'm almost 100% sure I got them from e92-lighting.com (but I could have got them from EAS), I'm pretty sure the guy's name is derrick (he's on the forums). Sorry I'm not helping too much, but it's been a while and it wasn't really a part I invested much time thinking about back then.

Anyone have pics for comparison? Never thought about this before. Now to decide between OSS and LS3, then stock or 6000k.

I don't have pics, but while I was looking for bulbs there was a thread on the e90 side regarding it. Night and day difference it appears.

Yea man. Big difference. My friend with e93 m3 has them but with no OSS or LS3. Before I got my OSS, i compared my car with his and his were much better. Perfect white. Since LS3 and OSS are both 6000k rings, i thought y not get 6000k bulbs to match them? It will look much better. Ordered mine too!
