break fluid change every 2 yrs

2 years start at the production date of the vehicle, right. I email a service guy at the dealership, told me that they follow the service interval indicated on the car. The problem i have is that it's been past 2 yrs as of the production date, but still ways to go on my cars display.

Any thoughts

I've read ther service and warranty information and states: ".. maintaince elements must be performed at the mileage/time stated (time intervals begin from the vehicle production date)."

Somebody must have reset it. iDrive initially schedules it 2 years from build date indeed. I changed it early, and reset the computer accordingly. Did you buy the car used? If new, it's easy to prove it wasn't done by BMW (all BMW services are recorded in their nationwide system), so just ask for it. Or escalate it to BMWNA if necessary. Brake fluid is critical IMO. Or just do it yourself, like many of us; it only costs $10. But you need to raise the front of the car at the very least, which allows you to do the clutch (if applicable) and get under the rear tires (barely). On the front wheels you can either do it with or without the wheels; I chose the latter. If you DIY, the clutch has a check valve making it a one-man operation, but you need to depress the clutch pedal by hand about 10 to 12 times. Good luck.
