Anyone who is still worried about the CEL light for the pipes don't worry

LET motorsports developed a tune on my car and not only is there more performance, but it took full advantage of no pipes and got rid of CEL and was deleted.

It will be released pretty soon and will be slotted by the other software out there, but this is an in house tune made using a few E9x M3's and tested. Not your cookie cutter tune made on a computer and shipped off to somewhere else and then back to you.

I'll let you guys know when it's officially released

Unless your car is on the dyno and being tuned, it is a cookie cutter tune. Using a universal tune is what a cookie cutter tune is. Not that there is a whole lot more power in a custom tune. Are you implying that the various tunes out there are made on a computer and never dyno tested during development?

For the record, my car is the shop now and will be getting dyno tuned in real time. The streaming data will be getting analyzed and adjusted for max performance of my specific engine. Both sides of the DME. Probably like what you got. However, if someone else orders the tune that you got, are they not getting a tune optimized on somebody elses car?

We are also using HJS tri-metal 200 cell cats. I do not want to turn off the CEL. NJ has OBDII inspection. These HQ German cats are super flo and no coding. Turning off the rear sensor works but what do you do when you need to get inspected? I did not want to swap exhausts and reprogram the ECU.

Yeah, this Tune is being created on my car, and the other tune, will be using a stock car, so there will be software packages available for cat and no cat options as well as
With and without stock pulley and aftermarket and trying to find out what exactly filter and RPI scoops will do.

The car is using a dyno dynamics as well as a mustang dyno and on the street tuning monitoring everything on the car in the real world.

This isn't written software on someone's computer in an unknown location and than being shipped back to see if it works. This is being developed for the specific car probably in the same way yours is.

So the good thing is not just the cell light people will be happy as they would be tuned for no cat performance. The stock tune will help a lot of people out as well, if they just want a tune, but don't want to tool around on their cars too much

Okay, bottom line. I may will be driving to SoCal soon this summer from Minneapolis. I'd really like the straight scoop on:

- v2 system availability (an actual real date)
- assurance I won't have to deal with a CEL light after returning to MN
- on-the-spot tuning/options for completeness
- other suggestions to get this done in a 'one-shot' visit

I'm ready if these can be answered with certainty.

Here is the deal with v2. We installed the first prototype on a guys car and he was supposed to drive it and tell us if the CEL comes on. Well, it took longer to come on than usual and he told us. So the problem is, I have been trying to get this guy back here so I can make a revision on the front pipes. Well, I have not been able to get this guy in here for the past 3-4 weeks. Its frustrating.

There is No CEL on JUST the axle back. There is a CEL on the GtRace exhaust. You get an extra $300 off the retail price which is listed on our website.

It all depends on the scheduling. We have a tune with Powerchip which incorporates the race exhaust set up and the scoops. If you want a custom tune, the price is different. Yes, it can be done in one day/visit depending on the schedule.

Does the V2 only apply to the full race exhaust, or will there be a V2 for the axle back as well?
