Review of RPi GT Exhaust

for all you guys with the full system, i know you get cel's but have you noticed any performance loss after it comes on???

I've had mine for almost 3 weeks and haven't gotten one yet.

The rasp is still noticeable even when the pipes have expanded. It all comes down to personal preference as to whether you like rasp or not no matter how much it's there. As Eloy previously stated, some people like it, some people don't. The V2 will be a great option for those who don't want rasp or CEL's.

I have the full GT and I love it. I think I got used to the sound, since it doesn't sound as loud as when I first got it.

As far as loud goes here's a story... One day, I was following a buddy of mine home, and I passed him up. My buddy was on the phone at the time, and the dude he was talking to asked him why the hell is your car so loud. He had to tell him that it wasn't his car but that it was my car that had passed by.

Oh and his windows were up.

Sorry I haven't heard the Eisenmann.

i dont know, i didn't even no it was an issues until i started reading this thread. i am the only one that has the exhaust in an E90, so perhaps that might have something to do with it

I have an E92 and no CEL's w my full race system.

I drive it every day. It will be 3 weeks this Friday since I've had it installed.

I have the REMUS race with the RPI pipes and it is insanely loud!!!

It sounds amazing but its almost impossible to keep quiet. Ask the guys at IND they'll tell you how loud it was...but they'll also probably tell you it will get me into some trouble with the Po po

I love it, but have to take it easy, the Remus I guess has a really straight through design and amplifies the sound, I'll get a clip up, but I love this thing

GET A CLIP UP ASAP!! Very exciting!

I have the Remus Race right now and contemplating on getting the RPI pipes to complement it - worried about the sound as well.

I'm not worried about the sound, it's just ultra super loud, louder than everything out there
Even louder and stronger than Eisenmann Race/AA pipes I heard

No cats at all and no res sure I feel high from the fumes but you feel the punch from the midpipes. And I did get a CEL just to clarify with you guys

no performance loss, it's jsut a stupid light that comes on when your turn on your car.

I have to go get some software tomorrow and then upload the video.
I guess what I have and the new iLife doesn't recognize the new camera I got, so I have to add some software

Video will be up by tomorrow or at least sunday bare with it. It is super loud, so not sure camera or computer speakers will do it justice
