Get First Service done at 1,080 Miles Like the Car Says Or Should I Wait for 1200?

My car is showing that I need my first service done at about 1,080 miles. I am at 1,070 right now and it says in 10 miles I need the service. Should I do the service now or wait until 1200? Also, I have a DCT so my understanding is that the engine oil, filter, and differential fluid needs to be changed?

That's weird. It should be at 1,200. It was the opposite for me. My car didn't tell me I had to take it at 1,200, but I knew I had to. If I accessed the iDrive service menu it was there, but no warning. I was bringing the car home so didn't do it until 1,400, and never a warning. Guess new cars are programmed differently. Just take it in at your earliest convenience; doesn't have to be NOW. Good luck.

Don't really see the logic, but when I had my 1200 mile service done back in early February, the dealer also installed a new air filter.

My car told me to do it at 1100. Anything after it became -XX number. I ignored it and did it exactly at 1200.00 and it was displaying -100.
