09M3 ObdII - Reading Not Avail (Heated Cat+A/C Refrig)
Went for a smog check last weekend. Prior to the smog check, I haven't driven the car for maybe 1.5 months. Car barely started and had to put the car on tender because battery was low. Low battery triggered the stupid check engine light. I plugged in my bluetooth obdii moniter and cleared the check engine light. For some reason the ecu didn't have any memory of my driving status.
So I put 50 miles on the car already. Now the obdII shows "Not Available" for two of the statuses. Is there a reason for this? This is for a 2009 M3. I have a rear section exhaust. Passed smog 2 years ago without issues. |

The car doesn't have a heated Catalyst or a system to monitor a/c refrigerant, so "not available" is correct.
According to your car's ecu, it's ready to pass smog. |
