Aftermarket headlights options?

Any good options out there aside from OSS and Bavgruppe?

I was about to place an order with BayOptiks, which is a company that installs Bavgruppe halos into headlights.

However, their pricing are downright insulting.

One of the options is an LCI beauty piece, small little piece of plastic... $250 extra.

LED eyebrow... $300 extra.
New lens cap... $200 extra
ZKW projector... $200 extra

OSS is even worse.

Are people really shelling out like $2k+ for headlights?

OneEighty is another shop that many here have used, though I'm sure they're priced similarly to the other shops mentioned above.

All the little add-on's add up, but if you're going to go to the effort to remove your headlights and ship them out, might as well do it right... I think.

Mine included the following changes for roughly $1600 not including shipping or new bulbs that I bought, though this was several years ago and prices have probably gone up by now.

LED corona rings
Silver painted shrouds with OEM projector text
Black out corner housing
LED corner light delete
Euro clear lens
Clear cornering lens (to give the look of dual projectors)
New OEM headlight lens covers (original were pretty pitted)

Check out this page. It's an old post, not sure if they've updated pricing, but it will give you some ideas, and it looks like there's a Flickr gallery linked in there.

Right. I’ve been contemplating that too. I was thinking of installing the DTM flat bottom halos, which requires to take a grinder and slice out a gap from each projector housing, where the halos fit into... and I just don’t want to screw it up lol.

If I DIY them, I’ll probably just go with the more OEM looking completely round ones.

Look great. Work great. I lost adaptive turning capability but I don't miss it much.

Ran me something like $600. The bayoptiks approach of opening the lens for $1600 i was not happy about. If I'm paying oem prices I would rather see them manufactured than refitted. To each their own though.

Which setup are you running? Did you install yourself? Or purchase ready-made ones from Amazon/eBay? If so, which ring kit?

Looks awesome. Any close up shots??

These are ones straight from Amazon. They looked sketchy so I was expecting them to be crap in which case returns are easy. was surprised at how well built they were. Install was easy, no hacking or cutting or opening. Just transfer ballast. AFS not supported.

Those look awesome. What brand are they? Do you still have the link?

I’m on the fence, somehow I really don’t want to lose AFS

My buddy @specialemotorworks on IG did my lights and I will say he comes in cheaper than the big headlight guys but with the same level of quality when it comes to work. I've taken my setup through the wash and absolutely no condensation, driven harsh roads and nothing has come loose. He is located in Northern NJ and works on a core exchange system so there's no downtime for you. I simply went and picked up and installed my headlights after they were ready.

My build is:
BavGruppe 3/4 Cut DTM Rings (Switchback version but didn't have it enabled on mine)
BavGruppe LED Eyebrow Kit (Switchback enabled)
Full Blackout (Shrouds, Housing, Corners)
Brand new OEM lenses.

Mine ran me right around the $1600 range which I thought was a good deal especially for DTM and Led Eyebrows.
