Another happy Apex owner

18x10 apex all around on 275 35 18 Nitto NT01. Their customer service is top notch. Had a change of heart at the last minute, they helped me with no problem. Very happy with them.

Saw the new APEX wheels today at Bimmerfest. Sweet looking wheel. Clears Brembo's too.

I am sure it is nice.. apex always make good products. I just don't want to wait too long. Plus I would never personally pick brembo bbk , their pads are too expensive compare to stoptech or AP

Agree on both points. Didn't want to wait on the new Apex & Brembo parts are too $$ -

I think I may have to get a set of those for my DD set-up on my next M3. They are sweet.

What's wrong with the VMR's?
I think that new APEX will look even better in 19" since the spokes will be longer.

Nothing wrong with the VMRs, they still look awesome, particularly for the price. I'm just thinking that I'll need a change for my next M3, next year.

Then get some BBS F1's!!!
Or MORR wheels. Don't know if they'll make the new wheel in 19" size.

Wait for the new Apex EC7. Gorgeous wheel and in the best performing 18" size.

So you run a square setup? Any issues? Why didn't you run a smaller tire up front?

People say it dials out the understeer. Also, it lets you rotate your tires to get more life out of them.

Check out the Track forum. Here's one thread on the subject:

Rotational advantage for square vs staggered, experience needed.

I just finished installing my new ARC-8's about 30 minutes ago. Went for a spin around the block (then torqued up the wheel bolts), and it seemed promising.

I just don't see where this understeer is when I drive my car.
I think those people are thinking it worked on the E46, so it must work on the E9x.
This car is MUCH MORE likely to hang the tail out than the E46. You're not going to be one of the best drift cars out there if you understeer.

Yeah, right! I'd way rather spend the money on full coilovers or BBK. The fancy/super expensive wheels don't make much sense to me. I suppose if I had a pile of money then.......well I'd have a GT3RS or similar in that case.
