Best gauge I have ever used. Remains accurate even if dropped.

You can get it at Sears/Kmart for $9.00. Check dealnews.com. Although I wish I had similar with a bleeder valve... |

The intercomp allows you to hold the large, easy to read, gauge pointed towards you while you use your thumb to press the bleed valve to release air / adjust the tire pressure. The accutire is definitely in a different league but not a better one. It's a $10 product that is sized to throw in your glove box.

Am I reading that correct, the Accutire max out the readings at 28.5 psi??! I'm running oem tires so I need a guage that goes at least 36 psi

When the OP asked for a "good quality tire pressure gauge" I assumed that he was taking the time to post in this forum because he wanted "quality". If the OP would have asked for a "decent, plastic pressure gauge, that I can throw in my glove box with a max budget of $10" then I would have suggested something different...

Your gauge is cool because it allows you to quickly tweak pressure. Its definitely a more substantial gauge. |

Ok gents, I've reviewed both recommendations and they have their plus and minuses. I don't mind the extra dollar for something that last longer, reliable and accurate. Think I'll get the Intercomp.
Thanks guys, much appreciated! 😊 |

Accuracy is usually best in the middle range of the gauge, so if you run 30-40 psi, buy a 60 psi gauge not a 100 psi gauge. There are a bunch of good ones, Accutire, Intercomp, Longacre and others. Probably the liquid filled are best, but cost more. My old Accutire disappeared this year at the dragstrip. I replaced it with a $20 Joe's Garage gauge.

We sell a pretty good mix of different gauges, but this one is the one I use myself.

Can't go wrong with any of the gauges listed in this thread. They are all listed in C&D's list. |
