LF: E90 CIC Emulator

As the title mentions, I am looking for an E90 CIC emulator. Would prefer something local around Toronto, however would be willing to accept something from the US (depending on shipping time).

Shoot me a message with your price and info on the brand of the emulator.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a CIC emulator?

If you have the old CCC based idrive system and are looking to retrofit the newer CIC system, the emulator is used to fool the car into thinking the new CIC you just installed is originally from your car. Alternatively, you can go to BMW and get an FSC code which will allow your newly installed CIC to recognize your car.

Hope this makes sense, but I am by no means an expert and am still learning the process for this retrofit.

Nevertheless, I am no longer looking for this. I ended up ordering the below emulator from eBay which got here here in less than 48 hours (from China):

The original I had ordered was found to be defective about a week after I installed it. The vendor was quick to send me another one and refund me after I had returned the original (although I had to haggle to get my shipping refunded, I ended up having to pay an additional $20 or so to warranty the original).

The new emulator has been installed for 2 months now without issue. I would still recommend eBay because they are far cheaper than the competition!
