iMHO it doesn't really matter what color the car is, a new set of wheels with the right color scheme can bring out the best of any color.

Like many said above, it's more of a rare find with the E9x.

Not my personal favorite, but it does looks really good with black accents, as you can clearly see by the above photos.

Pretty much every M, in any color, is going to look a ton better when you do some personalization to it. And each color has different things specific to it that make it tweak out IMO.

Melbourne and imola both need to be seen in person to be appreciated. the lines of the m3 just don't come out in pictures and it looks bland. in person the lines are not only well defined but the car is also much more aggressive and unique looking in red.

Melbourne is the perfect red color and I agree that it looks great with the CF accents.

m3lbournE92 - what size tires are you running out back? Are those rims wider then the stock 220's? I like the wider look, just not sure if I can go over a 275 in the rear with the stock rims (which yours obviously aren't)...

They're presumably ZCP's, so they're .5" wider in the rear.

Edit: or GTS. Same difference.

I'm running pss 295/30/19 on the zcp gts rims. They fit very snug and only hits the fender under full compression, but eventually it stopped after a week or so. It's the best tire I've ever used In a rear wheel drive car. Compared to the 265 contis, they look massive aha

Colstoy...what is the black rectangular area on your front bumper? That is not something I have seen before.

First M3 e92 I looked at and test drove was Melbourne Red. Loved it. The car wasn't for me (no EDC, a few other things I wasn't psyched about)... but I really liked the red.

It reminds me of a 1990 Saab 900 SPG I once had -- in Talladega Red.

I think Melbourne Red w/ the black or bamboo interior is awesome on an e92.
