Have you not read the threads... bearing problems are a hoax ... does not matter that they are sold out...

Just call AutoTalent since they're the distributors 310-231-7800
They can also let you know when they expect a new shipment but it's all up in the air with Covid.

(so we don't all call Autotalent in one shot, I spoke with them yesterday)

next shipment is in 5/29 but is spoken for completely other than Bimmersource that still has a few V10 sets in stock

the shipment after that is in september but we'll see due to Covid

I have two S65 sets on order in the 5/29 shipment and one S85 set in the September order, let's see if I get them

It would be nice if there was a way to know which retailers will be getting allocations from the May 29th shipment. I have my car on the lift ready to do this job, and I'm just about to purchase the VAC bearings because I don't want to wait until September for the BEs. I have a "notify me when in stock" setup with some of the sites.

We've had sets on order since December which we still haven't received. We received *none* from this June batch and aren't expecting any more till the next batch in September. So that'll be 9 months wait for us.

Clevite is not producing right now due to Covid. Apparently there was a number of units that did not meet BE's stringent quality controls so that also reduced the number of shippable sets from this June batch

We've got to maintain bearing solutions for our in shop services so we've been putting together custom matched and WPC treated King and ACL sets to be able to keep things going.

A very reputable shop in the midwest says that they have the BE bearings available to install on my 2013 M3 (50.5k miles). The thing deterring me is that they charge $3300 vs someone local that charges only $2100 (and is also well reputed). Thoughts? Normally I'd call BS on the BE bearings, but this is a well known shop.

So King bearings are OK to use on stock rods? Or do they now have a different offering than the one described here?

And it is totally awesome that you take the time to ensure your customers have the proper size shells installed. Top shelf as always.

Cheers,

Yes they are, I think King just had a typo on their website back then.
