Wavetrac in E92 M3 6MT 3.85 diff
Up for sale is a built diff. It is a 3.85 6MT diff with a Wavetrac installed. Nothing wrong with it. Diff includes the equal length axel stubs that you need to run with the wavetrac (which are hard to find these days). Edit: I just want to add that I drilled out the "ears" of the diff for 14mm bolts because the stock 12mm bolts break. The bolt through is easier too since there is no chance of stripped threads when installing the diff. Shoot me an offer! Last edited by bbnks2; 07-20-2021 at 04:28 PM.. |

Equates to a 6.5% difference in torque. Avg person probably won't even feel that and won't be able take advantage of it. If you are looking to really squeeze a tenth or two out of the car on the track like that then skip the Wavetrac and get a custom clutch-type that the GT4 runs for 2-3x the price imo
