Nope, my work gets done at Motorcepts. The E46 was recently sold to my neighbor, and the hideaway plate is the retractable system that lets the plate be hidden or shown (good way to avoid drilling the bumper).

how would you compare this to your old MK4?
I always think about getting a reasonable priced MK4 gti and nicely tune it as a fun DD

My MkIV was a fun car...fun to mod, fun to drive. But not fun always getting hassled by cops in it because it always attracted their attention. My M3 is in a whole different league of fun for me. I'm having more fun modding this one and even more fun driving it. Best part, cops never hassle me in this car. I've had this car for a little over 3 years now and I still feel the same happiness as the first day I got it everytime I sit in the driver's seat. I plan on keeping this car for the long haul...

I feel you on the DD. I was thinking about that too because my current DD is a V8 MBZ SUV. lol I'm thinking about getting an e-Golf though.

Fun fact: I recently painted the roof of my M3 - VW Uni Black (same color as my old MkIV) to have a little piece of my beloved VW on my M3.
