Got my car weighed today

Had some business by a scrap yard today so after I was done I popped in to see if they would let me use their scales and they said yes! I'm not nearly as track ready as most of you guys here, but I was curious how much I weigh now with a decrease from the full RPI exhaust and an increase from my Forgestars. My E92 has most every option like navigation, heated seats, individual audio, etc, aside from cold weather package and headlight washers. I had exactly 1/4 tank of gas when I weighed (the low tank reminder went off right when I was pulling off the scale. The only other weight in the car was miscellaneous stuff like phone, wallet, umbrella, etc...probably like 10-20 lbs max...and I stepped out of the car. The only caveat is they said their scales automatically round up to the nearest 10 lbs, so not perfect but close enough for refetence. And I double checked the weight on both the entrance and exit scale to be sure...and to keep them honest

All in all, fairly satisfied with 3,520 lbs, but I could definitely use a diet if I get more serious about track. Also, how much gas is everyone else running with on track? I've just been starting with a full tank and let it drop to half then fill it back up. Slightly worried about starving the fuel pump in long or hard corners.

I was expecting more, too. Which transmission? Carbon roof?

1/4 tank of gas so that means a full tank is about 84 lbs more.

Yeah, looks like 1 gallon of gas weighs about 6 lbs, and our tank holds 16.6 gallons.

So my weight would be something like:
Empty Tank: 3,495
1/4 Tank: 3,520
1/2 Tank: 3,545
3/4 Tank: 3,570
Full Tank: 3,595

Edit again missed your fuel starve question. When I autocrossed the car on Hoosiers I never experienced fuel starve no matter how low I ran the tank. Routinely autocrossed it at or below 1/8 tank and never any fuel starve

My '08 6MT E90 with all the floor mats, etc. in it was 3666 with a full tank when it was completely stock. Premium, cold weather package and 18's are the only options. It weighs about 120lb less now haven't weighed it in a while.

Edit so I got curious and threw it on my scales it is at 3490 with 5/8 tank now without all the floor mats and trunk junk in it. Those are worth 20lb so I guess I will fill the tank next time I drive it and get an apples to apples idea add that to 3510 and see what all my anal retentive weight loss efforts have really netted

I weighed my stripped out E46 M3 and it came in at 2560 (+/- 20 lbs) - 1/4 tank, no driver, no carbon fiber anything.

I might weigh my E90 soon. It should be pretty light - DCT, manual cloth seats, no I-drive, no sunroof.

That would sound pretty close. The manual seats are significantly lighter than the powered seats but the DCT adds quite a bit back.

I'm on the hunt for a set of used ratty manual E90 sport seats to swap my novillo cushions/covers over to, or a set of black novillo manual E90M seats but so far no dice

I thought the only upholstery option with the manual seats was speed cloth?

While I love my Monte Carlo Blue E90...its basically a track build with a $4500 paint job. Kind of idiotic. Since I DD the E90, I wouldn't mind swapping in black leather/power seats. Not sure what I need to do to make the power seats work.

Maybe just the transmission but there's wiring, control module, and 9L of fluid vs 2L of fluid.

I think you could do the leather as a line item separate from the power seat package (premium or whatever its successor package was)
