Motul 7100 10w60

Hey Guys, Im just curious what you guys think about this stuff ?

Has anyone tried it ?

here are the properties

PROPERTIES
Color Visual Red
Viscosity grade SAE J 300 10W-60
Density at 20C (68F) ASTM D1298 0.862
Viscosity at 40C (104F) ASTM D445 160.1 mm/s
Viscosity at 100C (212F) ASTM D445 23.9 mm/s
Viscosity index ASTM D2270 181
Pour point ASTM D97 -33C / - 27F
Flash point ASTM D92 232C / 449.6F
TBN ASTM D2896 8.4 mg KOH/g

You typically don't want to put motorcycle oil in a car....

Agreed. You can, but it's not optimal.

Motorcycle oils with JASO ratings mean that they have additional additives for transmissions (shared sump). In other words, it's a motor oil that also serves double-duty as transmission fluid. Typically it's just more anti-wear additives, but everyone's formula varies.

Plenty of other solid choices, so I'm going to say you should just save your money and buy something else.

The Motul 7100 10w60 ain't cheap either, will not recommend. Will rather go with Motul 300V 0w40 or 5w40. Many other choices of oil out there made specifically for car engines instead that will "work" with the S65.

Based on Price and Availability alone, i will steer clear.
