2009-2012 Idrive changes?

I searched but nothing worthwhile came up for me..

Anybody know the major changes for Idrive in the E92s from 2009-2012. They all have the same screen and controller, but other than map updates I am curious what else went on. I think I may have heard about an Ipod connection udpate.

Any help would be great.
