Wheel shops in TX?
Does anyone here know of any shops in or around San Antonio or Austin area? Specifically, rebuilding 3 piece wheels? Changing offsets?

Wouldn’t recommend D3 unless you like getting paint in places where they shouldn’t be (lug and hub contact points). Mine had so much overspray in those areas, that I couldn’t even seat my wheels on the hub. Once I sanded down those areas as much as I could, I still could not torque the lugs properly.
Because of the torque issue, I was not comfortable using those wheels on track at 100+ MPH, but the owner (who has never driven on track) kept insisting they were safe. Edit: Photos After wasting a bunch of time sanding the paint What the hub contact points should look like. |
