M-DCT driving videos

As I promise, here are 3 videos I took while driving. I know they are not the best, but I hope you can see/hear when I hit the paddle vs rpm engine change. I hope you enjoy it because it was a PITA to accomplish with 1 hand try doing that without M-DCT...

Awesome videos man! Thanx for the effort. The second video is pretty impressive, the upshifts from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th seem particularly quick and smooth. I didnt notice any major camera jerk. What are the settings you are using in the videos?

Thanks for sharing. I saw nothing which makes me question my decision to order DCT. Also I liked the extended FR leather.

That's why I asked the question of manual mode being used as it seemed very smooth for someone holding a camera in one's hand.

Very impressive, plus very quick.

cool, I'm meant to ask, how is it in the rain? I know you weren't going WOT and keeping with in the rev range...couldn't tell if it was heavy rain but I'm sure there have been other times were you drove it in the rain, so how does it handle?

In the vids I was doing my damnest to stay within the breakin...funny part is the 1st vid in D-5. You can see it wanted to go above but I had to just stay there and make it shift. No problems in the rain. You might think it is crazy but traveling above 100mph in the rain is normal here. It handles perfectly. We just back from Triberg (southern Bavaria) and it was snowing like hell. Thank God we left when we did, just started sticking. I didn't want to test it..

very cool.

so D5 is the quickest automatic mode?

I'm happy I changed my order.

I have some doubts about spending so much on the car since I could buy a Corvette for a fraction of the cost of my loaded M3, but this DCT makes the car seem even more special.
