You can connect it into DVR and go into the headunit menu to see if the cam works. But there's no way the headunit will display the rear camera in reverse correctly if it's not in the RCAM RCA.

No, when you throw it in reverse the headunit looks for the RCAM video. Can you take a picture of the back of the CCC screen?

i think i found my answer the front yellow was supposed to be in ccd . in the pic its label as rear camera the dvr is front

Yes that's it! Lol, usually all the headunit I work with come with an RCAM cable, I've never seen one labeled CCD.

ok ill report back in a couple of mins getting that harness connected back to the radio always a bitch, its like bmw purposely made the harness not long to fuck with us

Yea there's unfortunately no room in the back of the headunit for the huge wiring harness, gotta stuff it into the sides lol
