S65 engine block coolant drain plug?
I am wanting to switch out the coolant in my M3 to Evans waterless coolant but need to drain all the coolant out of the engine block first. The drain plug at the bottom of the radiator is obvious but I can not find where the drain plug is on the S65 engine for the coolant. Does the S65 have a coolant drain? If so, where is it? Pictures help if possible.

I have run Evans for 5 years in my E90M3. Use the two block drains that are sort of hard to get to above the header collectors. A mirror may help you see them. Expect a big mess when the coolant splashes out. There is probably still coolant in the heater core. Maybe you can blow it out with compressed air. Use a couple of gallons of Evans prep, run the car, and then drain again and fill with Evans.
I have been using Evans for about 20 years. I am not sure it it does anything but I think the lower pressure is less stressful. |

I've not seen this procedure (and equipment) before, but does anyone have any experience with this setup? Is this how coolant exchanges are done at dealerships?

How's the waterless going? Have you noticed a difference? Have you done any hard driving? I'm considering it right now, thanks for any input.
