SC/NC Meet Planning

About one week out guys!

Let's meet in Boone at 11AM at the Boone Mall and go from there.

The address is:

1180 Blowing Rock Rd in Boone.

It is right off 321/221 on the left side. There is a New China Buffet and a Bank right where you turn in. Whoever gets there first just park towards the front of the lot.

For the SC/Charlotte guys if we want to meet somewhere off I-85 and drive up 321 together I am cool with that. That way all the SC folks and the people in Charlotte could caravan up together. Just let me know where we should meet and what time. Probably around 9:15 to give us time to get up to Boone but 11AM. I guess we could just meet at one of the gas stations on the 321 exit off I-85?

Is anyone not going to be able to make it now or are we picking anyone else up?

I REALLY HOPE I can somehow I can get this in but turning 21 and gamecocks game on the same day is just making it difficult

I'm planning on coming! I have a coupl friends that are interested in coming as well. One has a turbo'd e36 M3 the other has a gen3 RX7. Is it okay if they come as well? Looking forward to this. It's been a long time since I've done a cruise in the mountains

There is a Petro Express gas station on 321 just North of I-85. Going North on 321 it's on the right hand side. 9:15 AM sounds good to me

I know the place so all the Charlotte guys and anyone else coming from SC can meet there and drive the rest of the way up to Boone. Let's plan on rolling out from there at 9:15 AM. I will try to be there by around 9AM.

Sorry guys...I been quiet. I'm doubting I can stay the night. got bummed into being on a backup for work on Sunday so gotta be back in Charlotte. I'm kinda new to Charlotte. We live way south in Matthews. Soooooo I might have trouble even finding that gas station without my GPS. Any help would be appreciated. I'm guessing I will be on the 485 going North until the exit to 85. Then taking 85 in ammmm...errrrr..what direction to get to that propsed exit? I guess I'll map it if I don't hear from someone. I wanna be there at 9am to meet with the other Charlotte guys. So someone lemme know if possible.

Poofyo101 is on the fence but if he comes will be coming up with me from Columbia and meeting the other folks at the I-85/321 exit.

Others originally said they were coming but even if it is just us this is a good number.

I will bring copies of the route I proposed for everyone and give them out in Boone. But I just want everyone to have fun and hang out. If people want to do their own thing up there that is fine too. No worries. We can talk about it more tomorrow. Looking forward to this and the weather should be perfect!

I will PM everyone my cell phone if you need to get in touch with me. See you tomorrow and drive safe.

Great. So right now we have 12 confirmed. 3 guys are joining with C'sM3. We will have a couple turbo E36s and an RX7. He should throw some love my way for my Volks.
