Nope, the whole idea behinf this system was to increase power, they wouldnt make a system without any power gains. im picking up the car on friday so ill keep you all posted on how well the car responded to the new system. I will be dynoing the intake within a couple weeks as well.

I think they were aiming for about $1800 msrp, and another thing tecnocaft did that i like is that each piece will be able to be purchased individually to fit up to the stock intake system. You will really have to see it in person to see the top notch quality of there work its all 100% american ( in this case thats a good thing )

However, if I was paying a pretty penny for those I would want the air intake side as smooth as the outside. Just my 2 cents.
I was thinking the exact something. Wouldn't the rough surface on the inside of the intake path make airflow more difficult?

On my angel shoulder, the look of these cf items are great!

hmmmmm, I think what's ruining the look is that piece just behind the radiator support that goes into the airbox.. the shape of it is really wierd and the Cf weave looks really messed up vs. the other pieces.. It looks strange the way it hooks up to the air box too. Was that photoshopped or something to remove the clamp?

If I do buy something, I'd probably just get the big airbox piece but even that doesn't match the weave on my Dinan intake (it goes in the opposite direction diagionally)... is it even possible to just buy the seperate pieces by themselves?

Thumbs up I just ordered my Envy Charger intake in CF

Eric@PYSpeed.com is the man he hooked me right up and will take good care of you. I'm afraid the mod virus is still on me and I just had to complete all the carbon fiber mods I have under the hood of my M3 I recommend this mod over the Dinan $$$ . I can't wait to get this mod in the mail
