am I crazy?
On a sunny day, I was going home on the parkway in my pathfinder. Heard a vaguely familiar sound whiz by. It was an M3 coupe. So, I follow him just to listen to the engine sound. Every time he gives the throttle, the beast howls. Didn't get a good look at the exhaust. Dodn't think it was modded. I followed him all the way until I had to exit. It was sweet music to my ears. Even when I'm not driving the damn thing, I'm mesmerized by it.
Here's where I think I'm going nuts. When I actually drive the M3, I don't get the full sound effect that I heard when I was a bystander. I'm just playing music for others. What do you guys think? Am I crazy or what?

I had a similar experience a couple of days ago. Throttle blips sound incredible when you are behind the car. I patched up with a Houston ///M Club member on the freeway and we just happen to be headed home the same way. That Akra exhaust sounded amazing every time he downshifted.......long live throttle blips and DCT ................Phil

I barely listen to the radio any more after I got my exhaust and hell even before that I never really played it that loud.
Engine > Sat Radio (Except if Howard Stern isn't on vacation )

that's when you know your a car feen (however you spell it)
I don't have an e9xM, but anytime we have an e46m in the shop I look over the whole entire thing as if i didn't own one.. Same thing if i see one on the road, i stare at it as if I don't see mine everyday in the driveway. It's truly a sickness i enjoy. |

Thank God, I'm not alone! I appreciate the feedback. I feel like I'm at an AA meeting. Hi, my name is Jason. I'm an M-holic!
