Just wondering why Jet black? It is least desirable color among other colors (IMO) that requires lots of cleaning maintenance to keep it up clean

I mean, look at that picture. That should be explanation enough lol. Jet black is sexy and I dislike Jerez Black (blue) with a passion.

+1 - Jerez is no different though. All black cars look dirty as f. after 15 minutes post wash

I had no problem keeping my Jet Black E46 M3 free of dirt. I think a lot has to do with the choice of cleaning/wax products, plus not living in a static heavy environment. High humidity areas are kinder to black cars.

Of course that doesn't include Carbon Black, which looked like it had been driven through a dust storm within minutes of drying after a wash. To my eyes, Jerez Black looks like it has the same demon possessing it.

Both of those had blue in them. Does Ruby Black suffer from the same disease?

This is Jerez but otherwise seems pretty close to your needs. I know opinions on Jerez can be strong but thought I'd throw it out here. I have no affiliation to this car.

If it's clean, and no swirls in the paint then I agree this is the best color. Jet Black on Fox Red ZCP is perfect.
