Good morning,

I have been receiving numerous messages about doing another group buy for the Alibaba valved exhaust (Babatronics lol).

Just recently, I was contacted by the manufacturer for the valved exhaust and they wanted me to gauge interest on another potential group buy. This time, it'll be for their full titanium exhaust. I was notified that their technology is more mature now. They've changed machines and molds to fix QC and production issues. However, I cannot guarantee that it is absolutely perfect. As with all products in life, any issues will be handled with the manufacturer accordingly.

Pricing
Pricing would be subject to change, and will be determined by a final head count. Expect the cost to be between $2500 for a full system (x-pipe + mufflers + tips), and around $1500 for just mufflers + tips. Shipping costs have gone up and I'm sure customs fees have as well since my previous GB. The more people in the GB, the better the fees can be split. Please use the estimated quote above as a reference. I do not know what the final amount will be until I know the interest. I plan to include shipping in the final cost and will allow pick up as well in SoCal (Orange County).

Available Options
The group buy would be open to both E90 & E92/E93 systems. Since this could potentially be a larger order, I could also order non-titanium systems should you not want to go that route. All systems will be configured with vacuum valves (much better than electronic valves). Price estimate for stainless steel: $1600 for a full system.

-Shipping after final payment to the manufacturer took about a month because it was coming via sea freight during the holidays. Along with that, we have no control over how long it takes customs to release the cargo to us.

I said I wasn't going to do another group buy because it's a lot of time and effort on my end for one person (working full time, having a newborn, picking up cargo from the port, etc...), so this may very well be my last.

Update 1 (6/16/2022):
I have sent the production order to the manufacturer and am currently verifying the list/order with them. I have reached out to some members this morning to confirm the finish on their exhaust tips. Once I hear back from everyone, the list will be 100% verified and that's when I'll get our final invoice. When that happens, I will begin to collect payment.

Update 2 (6/21/2022):
List was verified and a final invoice has been received from the manufacturer. I have started to collect payment and we are at 70% complete which will suffice to start production. I'm waiting on four final members to pay to complete the collection. Payment will be sent to the factory tonight.

Update 3 (6/27/2022):
First payment was sent to start production. I was notified that the manufacturer is waiting for the raw materials since we're doing a massive titanium purchase. ETA for full completion is set for mid-July. So we're delayed about two weeks. They were expecting the raw materials last week but delivery was delayed by a few days. Was also notified that shipping hasn't been taking that long to the US (roughly 20 days). Will continue to update as this process comes along.

Update 4 (7/15/2022):
Got word from the manufacturer last night that production is near completion. Roughly a week out. Once production is complete, I will be doing a virtual QC with them to confirm each order prior to shipment.

Update 5 (7/17/2022):
Just got notification of production completion! QC to follow before shipment. I'll be verifying every order before they ship it over. Thank you for being patient!

Update 6 (7/19/2022):
QC is complete and I've sent everyone a photo of their order. Manufacturer is now scheduling shipment for our freight.

Update 7 (7/21/2022):
Final payment posted. We are now scheduling shipment. ETA roughly 3 weeks.

Update 8 (7/26/2022):
Cargo is secured at export. Ship is set to sail August 7. ETA will pass because we had to wait for available space. Will give a better ETA soon.

Update 9 (8/9/2022):
Almost completed! The ship left from NINGBO yesterday. It will arrive (estimated) on about 8/24/2022. Will post ship info when I receive it.

Update 10 (8/25/2022):
Shipped has arrived at the port. Working with the team to clear customs now. Pickup pending!

Update 11 (8/29/2022):
Customs fees have been paid for. As soon as cargo is available for pickup, I'll pick up the packages and ship out the same day as well.

Update 12 (9/01/2022):
Cleared for pick up.

E90/E92 would come with the correct length. Tips are adjustable as well.

Note: You can purchase the Ti x-pipe alone. No need to purchase mufflers if you don't want to.

What's the price difference between stainless and titanium? Any sound or construction difference? (for just the muffler)

The price difference between the two will roughly be a difference of around $800-$1000.

Stainless and titanium are two different materials, so yes the construction will be a little different. As far as sound goes, it's hard to explain without actually hearing the difference between the two systems.

I have noticed that titanium exhausts are usually higher pitched.
