Yeah, I still haven't gotten a call for those airbag recalls a few years ago (when the letters went out and they said they'll call when the parts are in) - I wouldn't hold my breath!

I went to the dealership today to get service done (Autohaus) and I asked about the airbags...apparently not anytime soon.

The airbag issue is massive. Now that the manufacturer of the airbags is bankrupt, the automakers will have to consider other solutions - they can't keep passing the buck. Apparently, the focus has been on older models (E46) and cars in more humid environments. No-one is certain that the replacement airbags will be any better over time.

I suspect that the wiring harness repair/replacement will be resolved much more quickly, as the high pressure fuel pump was on 335's

I just called BMW Toronto and they said that the only recall for my 08 M3 is the airbags. They don't have anything for this electrical thing....not sure whats going on at this point.

Anyone get confirmation about our cars?

Yes same thing, when I check with BMW online by putting in my VIN, the only recall for 2009 M3 is the airbags as well.

the electrical thing doesn't apply for the M3, its a heater element thingy thats found in the intake that shorts itself and catches on fire.
