Solution: Faded/dull M stripes on M3 trunk badge

I am looking into a high quality vinyl solution that will vastly improve upon the OEM and even aftermarket M stripes stickers on the trunk badge. I have Khoalty and iND black badges (I prefer iND gloss black -- presently have on the car) but want to see if I can improve upon the stickers. I am surprised all these associated M tricolor stickers are so weak! I don't feel like replacing the whole badge, just because the red has faded or there is peeling/wear and tear from washing and waxing.
I have a job going with a local sign/graphics shop to create a simple stick on solution. I may have them make bulk if it is outstanding.
Let me know if interested.

That would be cool. Maybe something more "jewel".

The stickers are weak, they fade/peel even if the car isn't washed or sees sun. I suspect China Import. I'd be careful with something too perfect, or it will just get taken.

Lol. Let's see...how do describe it? Instead of flat vinyl, it would be more 3D with a raised clear bubble similar to the roundel or little m wheel emblems.

That's called "doming." Those would be domed vinyl decals.

You seriously think someone would steal that?

I highly doubt these badges we see on the RICE-mobiles are purchased for $25-$30. Do you?

floss=(cheap and fast)

A bunch of us were discussing this at work and thought about a hologram under the paint somehow, similar to Lamborghini did it for their Polizia Stradale Gallardo? I know it wouldn't be raised and possibly it could be made to reflect when right behind somehow.

The shop is going to lay up vinyl that is designed for continuous exposure of 7 years so it should be good for a lifetime on a car without fading or peeling. The adhesive is auto grade also.
A week out now.
Last night I took the Bimmian vinyl M color kit and made some of my own stickers.
I used the dark blue as backing and laid up the red and light blue strips to each side and cut with the old sticker on top as a template. Looks even and original for fit.
Out of 5 total, I made two look nearly perfect.
So I have my custom cut vinyl backups that look much brighter than the OEM paper sticker. Hopefully the shop will do a similar or better job and then I can order a few ....

My little workshop.
The perfected piece is lower left compared to a standard sticker.

Applied this morning. What a pain. To get perfectly aligned, no bubbles, I went through 5.
This is my hand-cut vinyl version. I wanted crisp lines of color, no bleed, no color gaps from printed color. I admit I'm OCD, but on a car this expensive I was annoyed by it .... The principle of the thing I guess.
I am quite curious how the shop job turns out.
