great exhaust! I had an Innotech F1 exhaust (serial #101), and loved it, but I wanted to switch things up and sold it for something drastically different (not an exhaust)

I noticed that the vendor I purchased my innotech axle back from no longer has these exhausts listed on their website.

It's hard to say. Sport setup sounds very exotic, unlike anything I've heard on the e92 M3 before. It will definitely turn heads. It's got a certain amount of high pitch throatiness in the tone with every rev. When you open it up, it's out of this world. Dynoing the car is just unbelievable.
And simply put, F1 setup takes all that up a notch. I have my F1 x pipe if you're interested. |

Nice review. Given the fact that the mufflers are split up (vs oem design) did you measure any noticeable weight savings over oem? To me it sounds like even with the valves closed the exhaust is louder than Akra. Its hard to say because its from a video, however, perhaps someone from EAS can chime in as they have had experience with both.

Thanks. I didn't get a chance to measure the weight and you're right IPE's design splits up the muffler section and connecting pipes. When valves are closed, it is quieter than Akra, actually similar to stock. Very useful when driving family around or avoiding unwanted attention.
PS. Parting out the car, selling my exhaust too if anyone's interested. |
