Anybody near Chicago able to maybe help me out.
I'm recently having issues with my car not starting sometimes and I'm not sure what the issue is, it basically just is completely dead for a little while and then will start up out of the blue and have absolutely no issues.
I may just need a to swap a few small parts out to see If I can narrow down the issue or if anybody may know what a possible issue is. Beer on me If somebody can help Here's the thread I started. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1398408 |

You need to get your battery cable connector to the fuse box looked at. Your battery problems could have triggered the unreliable connector. A classic symptom is a car that is completely dead but can come back to life . And battery tests ok. You need to check it or replace it .

There was actually a recall for the battery cable connector. Check if your car is part of that -- mine was.

If the car won't start but you DO have power in the cabin, check your engine ground cable. Drivers side, just behind and in-board of the front wheel. Over time they corrode and basically disconnect the engine, starter, alternator from the vehicle electrical system.
