E92 M3 Front Control Arm Monoball Bushings

Hello everyone,

I am currently refreshing my suspension arms as my car now as 80,000 miles on and under my ownership will see regular track use.

One area I am keen to improve is the huge movement under braking and to that end, wish to upgrade to front control arm monoball bushings.

I see there are many options - Millway, Bimmerworld, FallLine, SPL Components etc

Is there a consensus as to which is the "best" - or is it a case that they're all pretty much as good as each other?

If it makes a difference, my car isn't used through winter.

Dinan is fantastic, but not the cheapest. Bimmerword is also very popular and a little cheaper. Many reports of noises with the Turner units.
Fall Line is good but unsealed, whether or not that matters depends on the conditions you’ll drive in.

I’ve read mixed things about how durable the stock bushings are, some say they wear out like E46 RTABs, others say they last a long time.
I’m at 50K now and I can feel the play/movement but my bushings don’t look that bad or worn to the eye. At $20/ea, I have some new OE Lemforder units ready to go in. I want to see how fresh stock feels before going monoball. If no different then I may look at monoballs too.

German Auto Solutions. They are nearly identical to Dinan and cheaper. The quality is amazing.

I’ve used the BW front monoballs on two e92 M3s. Zero issues.

Went to a shop to have the OEM FCABs pressed in (not a DIY unless you get new arms with FCABs already in) and they said I'd be silly to pay them for the work since mine looked just fine. So, I returned the Lemforders, but I am still not happy with the shimmy under braking. So I'm back to thinking about these as well.
I am not sure if this bushing rotates like the E46 RTABs (I suspect it does), but in that application, (1) the monoball allows full rotation to maintain suspension geometry, unlike poly, and (2) the NVH difference between poly and monoball is basically nil.
Not sure I see the benefit of poly in this case if racing rules permit both types.

The black series poly will be harsh, they're like solid plastic. I had some that I sold without ever installing. I went with turner monoballs.. no added nvh. Just who ever presses them has to make sure they don't stress the aluminum bearing housing cuz it'll make for slop and a short lived monoball

I bought the CTA 4080 kit, it should let me remove and install the new bushing with the ball joint still in place, tons of guys on e90post DIY it.

I have the bimmerworld monoballs, they massively reduced steering shimmy under heavy braking on track. Took some of the initial 'gloopiness' out of the steering as well so it feels a touch more connected. No additional NVH I have detected.
