Seat heater problem

I removed and reinstalled fuses 48 and 49 looking for a way to disable the headlight washer. Now, since I reinstalled the fuses, when I turn on my heated seat, it only stays on for a few seconds and then goes off. Any help?

Make sure you put it back in the correct location. It sounds like a fuse is out if place

Maybe the fuse is not plugged in all the way.

If there is a fuse problem, why does the heater come on at all?

Could of popped something in the controller when you turned it back on. Could have had an over current condition. Also check for loose connections.

Because activating the button is a seat heater request. Once it sees that the seat module does not have a power supply, it shuts back off. I'll almost guarantee that's the issue. I've seen it before when people check their own fuses and don't reinstall them in the right spot. Just look at your fuse chart as a guide and see which fuses are missing or see which fuses are out of place. If you can see the metal pins in both sides of a fuse opening, there's supposed to be a fuse there. If you can only see the pin in one side, it's unused on your car.

Thanks, that makes sense. I will double check the fuse positions, and let you know.

Did you ever resolve this issue? I am having a similar issue. My seat warmer light flickers on and off after I turn it on
