DBC, DSC, Tyre Pressure Monitor Failure
Hi Guys,
About a week ago my 07 e92 m3 started showing DBC, DSC and Tyre pressure monitor failure errors to which I have to either pull over and turn the car off and on again or confirm the tyre pressure to make the errors disappear. The errors only appear when i turn a corner or i drive up a raised driveway on an angle which makes the right back wheel lift up off the ground. Interestingly there was a week between the first and second time it appeared but now it is happening every time i drive. I'm not sure if this is related but before the error came up the first time i had a low battery warning come up on the screen. I'm going to try and get a code reader so hopefully that may shed some light on this issue. Has anybody else seen this issue before? Thanks in Advance |

hey guys just had my car looked at by an indy and it appears the steering angle sensor has gone.
A very common issue with e9x from what i have read. He's ordered the repair kit so hopefully its sorted sometime next week. Ill post back with the results. Cheers |

Reprogram your SAS before replacing it. In most cases it ends up being a calibration and programming issue.

I have the same problem. Just took my car to the dealership a couple of days ago for 35,000km maintenance (no issues at all). They told me they had updated my car's software with the latest version, changed the oil and steering fluid.
I picked the car, and after 2 days driving a total of only 10km... I get the DCS and TPMS failure message. After a while it turns off and then on again. Checked the tires, everything is ok. From what I've read it seems to be the steering angle that needs to be reset. But in order to see if I can get this done free at the dealership, does anyone think it has anything to do with the recent maintenance service? Maybe when they changed the steering fluid?
