I want to say I've seen thy vid before and it was probably on this forum. Do they make it in 10/60?

They do. It's a phenomenal oil.

Lol at the price. I'll stick to Castrol TWS for $9.55/L.

You were in Group B, right? I saw you out there, great lap time! Here's a video where I was following behind you:

Thanks! That was my first track day since January. I'm debating heading down to Willow Springs with redpriest next weekend!

Willow springs is a good time, but I'm going to save my tires for auto club 11/19-20.

You are the guy with the stroked 370 right? I remember hearing about it. No wonder the car sounded so good!
I didn't realize it was you or I would have come to say hi. Running in two groups doesn't leave a lot of time to walk around and socialize.

Saw your vid of your off at 5. Looked like a save and then a violent spin. Tires bite all of the sudden or what?
I almost dropped a tire at 6... really glad I didn't. I've been off there many times in gran turismo and it usually results in a hard wallbang. Lol

ECS has it also, LINK. I may try it after I run through the Amazon Castrol Edge that I have left. And there must be a better deal on this stuff somewhere.

$150 for a change kit isn't terrible. I might be coming up on three track days on my current oil already.
Car seemed to be running a bit warmer than usual at Laguna (a needle width or two above 3/4). Checked the water before I left and it was fine, but I had a little bit of that water residue around the cap like I had some blow off (none from Laguna)... Oil level is near the top mark and I'm running mos2 in it. No undertray missing.
May have been that I was running the car pretty hard. All the long accelerations at Laguna are also uphill. I might be overthinking it.

Well, $14.89/L. I doubt the Shell stuff is any better than Castrol, so I have no reason to get Shell when I can get TWS from my local Audi dealership for $9.55/L. I'm cheap.

There is a significant price difference, no doubt.

Always want to loosen the fill plug before the drain plug, like you show in your pic. Nice work!

I have that on my list of things to do. I'm under the car doing the rod bearings...struggling getting the oil pan out right now <facepalm>.

Maybe I'll do the diff and trans fluids to stink up the garage a bit more while I think about how to get the oil pan out. Subframe is dropped and the front oil pickup is out, but I can't get the pan over the subframe...

Now that is a job! Best of luck and take some mental notes for us as you go (on my list too).

Diff fluid is done, super easy job for those considering it. And feeling better now after stripping my oil pan last weekend.

How is the pan not coming off if the subframe is dropped?

Is re-bedding going to fix it, or should I get a flex-hone onto the rotors? Even after about 50 miles of low-speed city driving, the rotor faces are still nearly mirror-smooth with the characteristic blue color.

They are too cold. They don't get to their optimal operating temp on the street. Bedding/etc. isn't going to stop the squealing.

My fronts don't squeal with a hybrid pad, but my rears will.

The DS2500 isn't a race pad and they never squealed before this track day.

It's a hybrid pad. They on the front or rear?
